Filming of An Evening With Nancy took only a few hours, working with just the writer/director, Michael Sheridan, and his actor, Cristina Lundy.

However, finishing the film took some time longer, as the film's sound was developed completely afterwards. Michael worked over several weeks to record all the sound effects in the film, including performing a minor cameo as the voice of Nancy's elusive date.

Once the sound was completed, with a few recording sessions with the actor, editing was tightened and the project was completed.
